Monday Five is a weekly segment in the Ongaku!Project WordPress where we present five random O!P members with a question. Their answers to that question will be posted here each Monday. It’s a unique chance to get to know the O!P members a bit better! We were only able to grab 4 members to answer this week’s question. Everyone seems to be keeping pretty busy this summer~
Q: Who do you look up to or consider to be your hero?
Miyoki: I would say that currently I look up to Kitade Nana as kind of my idol and such. In terms of fashion and lifestyle she represents a lot of what I aspire to be like. I unfortunatly just gotta get a little richer to be able to look as good as her..^^;
Nono: Hmm.. Well a lot of people say their family is, so it’s obvious mine is too. But besides my parents I would have to say my bestfriend Valen is. =] She is always there for me no matter what! I trust her with everything and she’s always looking out for me. She’s like a “mother-figure” to me. She’s always trying to find what’s best for me and she’s very supportive of a lot that I do and things like that. That’s why I say she is my hero =]. <333
Chococat: There are a couple of people that I really admire, but the number one is definitely Trent Reznor, frontman of Nine Inch Nails. I’m always inspired by the way that he’s been through a lot in his life, and battled with a lot of demons, but he’s always not only managed to get through it, but keep pushing forward, musically and artistically. He can make an astonishing range of music, from full-on screeching noise down to beautiful, melancholy, quiet and subdued piano tracks. He takes his music so seriously and, best of all, he truly appreciates his fans and their support.
Twissie: For me it would have to be Janove Ottesen and the rest of the members in Kaizers Orchestra, my favourite band. They’ve really opened up my eyes to what it’s like to try and make it as a band in my own country. Celebrating international success, but still not making that much money out of it. Their passion for what they do, their commitment to what they started… it’s an inspiration for me to do my best and never give up my dreams. It’s also made me more down to earth and has made me think more realistically about some aspects of myself and my future. On top of that they seem like genuinely nice people. They know how to take care of their fans and they definitely know how to put on a good show~
