Weekend Time Lapse

I’m currently breezing through my near 3 month long summer vacation. I have no travel plans, but I’m keeping busy catching up with friends, doing touristy things in my own city and traveling short-ish distances by car with my family.

This weekend my boyfriend, his sister, their mom and me decided to meet up, put our heads together and do some real work on a priest’s farm that they acquired a while back. This farm is no longer used for neither priest-y nor farm-y things.. so it’s more of a summer cottage or what have you. It’s a really cosy little place, far away from everything, in the middle of nowhere near a town called Ljungby in Sweden.

Our task for the weekend? To get the house painted to preserve the wood a bit longer and make the place look a bit livelier. Here’s a time-lapse video of us painting one of the long walls of the house. Unfortunately the lighting wasn’t the best for this kind of shoot, so you can’t actually see the wall change colour, but just.. lean back and enjoy watching us all hard at work ;)

(If video skips, pause and let it load completely before watching)

What a funny looking dog! It was a kewl video even though you couldn’t see stuff change very well! XD

I just realized though, Uppsala is quite literally RIGHT across from Oslo on latitude line things. I looked at a map and was amused haha~

That’s 1 hour and 30 minutes of hard work in that video there D: We should have filmed us doing the short wall as well, because it was grey-ish before we started putting red paint on it. I’m sure you could have seen a difference in the video with that wall even with the stupid lighting we had that day. Oh well, it was a fun project anyway XD

The dog is an Afghan Hound. My boyfriend’s mom has two of them @_@; They are huge and I’m rather frightened of them, even though they are quite nice.

8D Maybe we could visit each other some day~~

This is really cool video!! ^o^ It reminded me of one of those old British children’s programmes that taught you how to make or draw things… You lot must be pretty tired out after all that work~ ♥

    Thanks for sharing Twissie!! ^o^

What an awesome concept of a video XD It’s fun to look at, but as you said, would be so much better if the wall color change was observable XD

The dog is so cool!!!! ^o^
